Marta Palacín Guarné was born in Spain in 1987. She got her degree in Law at the University of Barcelona (Spain), in 2010.
She studied part of EU Law at the University of Leiden (the Netherlands) for six months (2008/2009). Was during her stay in the Netherlands when she realized how interested she was in International Law.
In 2009, she was selected in order to represent the University of Barcelona in the ELSA Moot Court Competition, participating in the European Regional Round, in Finland, and in the Final Oral Round, in Dominican Republic. Taking part in this experience she corroborated her interest in the international perspective of her Law studies and, particularly, in WTO Law.
Marta decided to join the IELPO Master Program to gain an international and multidisciplinary profile, increasing her international law background and deepening her knowledge of international policy.
Marta is native speaking Spanish, and she is fluent in English and Catalan. She also has basic knowledge of Italian.
