Hannah received her undergraduate degree (cum laude) from University College Maastricht with a specialization in International Relations and International Law. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a semester at the University of Sevilla, where she studied European law. Furthermore, she completed an internship at the European coordination of a German Ministry during her studies. This enabled her to better comprehend the interaction between EU law and national law.
After the completion of her undergraduate studies, Hannah pursued her legal studies further. She obtained a LLM in European law from the University of Maastricht (cum laude). During her LLM and owing to her interest for WTO law, she furthermore participated in the WTO law Moot court team of Maastricht University. The team won the regional rounds in Leuven and participated in the finals in Santo Domingo, where it was ranked 7th. The moot court experience also made her decide to focus on WTO law and particularly the nexus between law, macroeconomics and regional science which complements Hannah's interdisciplinary education.
Apart from her mother tongue German, Hannah is fluent in English, has good knowledge of Spanish and French and basic skills in Dutch.
