Li Zhang is a Master candidate in Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade (SIFT), where her field of research focuses on the WTO law and policy. She obtained her bachelor's degree in English from Southeast University, with a wide knowledge of international trade.
During her studies in SIFT, she worked as an intern in the Trade Policy Review Division of the World Trade Organization, and participated in drafting the 2010 trade policy review report of China, mainly in the manufacturing industry and energy. This experience contributed to her great interest in the field of international economics and government policy, and made her more determined to join the IELPO program for a quality education, so as to be better equipped for her career in China.
Li is a native speaker of Chinese and fluent in English and knows a bit Japanese
