Xavier Just began his academic career realizing the links between the economy and the legal order, and he felt the necessity to acquire deep knowledge of both. He obtained his degree in Economics in 2007 and two years after he finished a degree in Law, both obtained at the Pompeu Fabra University, in Barcelona.
During his university years he was involved in many students' activities and associations, and he was selected to participate in the United Nations Models in New York and Europe, where he developed his diplomatic and organisational skills. At the time he was working on one if his most preferred topics: international relations. Xavier has also taken specialized courses of efficiency in the public economy, another interesting area for him.
After an internship in a public agency promoting a technological park in his city and assisting university professors in juridical reports, he spent most of the last year of his legal studies in an exchange program at the University of Maastricht. During these months he has had the chance to take courses on European and international law.
He joined the IELPO program because of the opportunity to link both international and legal studies.
Xavier is native in Spanish and Catalan, fluent in English and has studied some French.
