Mxolisi Ngulube



Mxolisi Ngulube holds a Bachelor of Law degree (with Distinction) from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) where he is completing his first Master’s degree in Human Rights Advocacy and Litigation.

He is currently working as Sessional Lecturer, and Research and Teaching Associate at his alma mater. Over and above his academic successes (such as achieving Dean’s List status, being a recipient of the University Postgraduate Merit Award, several Merit Certificates and Prizes), he has had the privilege of leading several societies and organizations during his time at Wits. These include, among others, serving as the Chairperson of the Postgraduate Association, Co-Editor of the Inkundla Law Journal, University Co-Ordinator for the Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa (Wits), Senior Tutor for Introduction to Law, and Senior Tutor and Facilitator for the Road to Success Program.

In 2016, he was a team member of the Wits ELSA Moot team to qualify for the Final Oral Rounds in Geneva for the ELSA Moot Court Competition, and in 2017, he returned to coach the Wits Team for the same competition. His interests include Human Rights Law, Competition Law and International Trade Law. He intends on increasing Africa’s footprint in International Trade and assisting African economies grow. Mxolisi is 22 years old and is from Zimbabwe.
