Jemimah Muyama



Jemimah Muyama is a Lawyer, born and raised in Uganda. She was awarded a Bachelor of Laws Degree (with honours) from Uganda Christian University in July 2017. She has also been admitted to do her bar course at the Law Development Centre in Uganda.

At Uganda Christian University, she served as a Vice Chairperson of the Law Fellowship and also represented the school in a number of Prestigious national, and regional moot court competitions- including the WTO/ELSA 2016 regional competition which gave her an opportunity to be introduced to the world of International Trade and Economic Law.

Jemimah worked as an intern at two different legal firms in Uganda: Samuel Wegoye & Co and LEX Uganda Advocates and Solicitors where she developed her interest in commercial law and Intellectual Property Law.

Jemimah is very passionate about leadership and the community and has participated in various leadership ventures like the Young African Leadership Initiative as initiated by President Barrack Obama in Nairobi- Kenya and Youth Leadership Forum organized by a German firm called Freidrich Ebert Stiftung.

She aspires to work as a representative of her country and all least developed world countries to foster their participation in world trade economics.

She speaks fluent English and various local languages and is currently learning Spanish
