Yuriy is a Ukrainian economist and former government official.
In 2012 he graduated from the National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" in Ukraine with a strong academic background in economics, finance and statistics.
Yuriy started working at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine in 2013, being one of chief experts in two antidumping investigations of Ukraine and has an extensive practical experience with all intricacies of antidumping measures. As a part of the trade remedies division, he also took part in Ukrainian dispute settlement proceedings concerning trade remedies. Since 2015 Yuriy has fully specialized in dispute settlement, working in the majority of the cases Ukraine participated in.
He is fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
His main areas of interest include government regulation, impact of technology, and political economy. In his free times Yuriy enjoys reading and issuing a blog in Ukrainian on popular economics.
