Jackson is from Tanzania and holds a degree from the University of Dar es Salaam School of Law. He graduated in 2016 and became a Research Legal Fellow for the New Markets Lab Organization. Also in 2016 Jackson was admitted and awarded a scholarship to join the IELPO LL.M at the University of Barcelona.
Apart from the Degree award from the University of Dar es salaam, Jackson also participated in different extracurricular activities while in school. In 2013 he was part of the Harvard LIDS Global Research Project, a research project organized by the Harvard Law and International Development Society which resulted in the publication of Vol.1 Inaugural research project on compensation for transnational corruption.
In the years 2014/2015 he took part in the ELSA moot court competition. He was later appointed to coach the University of Dar es salaam ELSA moot court team for the 2015/2016 edition. The team coached by him was awarded with two prizes in the Africa Regional Round: 'The ELSA Sprit Award' and 'The Best written Submission Award (Complainant side)'.
Jackson believes that the IELPO LL.M. Programme will give him a wide understanding on how international economics and law intersect and stimulate positive development.
