Joy Wanjiku is an all-rounder person seasoned with indispensable knowledge of the legal framework. Her interest in Law began when she was doing an accounting course at Strathmore University back in 2011. In 2012, she changed her course to a Bachelor of Laws degree (L.L.B.) at the JKUAT law school, which she successfully completed in 2015.
During her studies she interned in a well-renowned law firm in Kenya whereby she had first hand experience with the legal process and was charged with drafting legal documents and handling other official legal matters under guidance.
Joy is also an active member of the World Youth Alliance programme as well as AIESEC. In 2016 she participated in the European Law Students Association Moot Court Competition on WTO Law whereupon she was positively challenged to pursue her career in the line of International Trade law. Shortly thereafter, she was awarded a scholarship to do her Master of Laws in International Economic Law and Policy.
