Keven Shaw (Min Xiao) is from Beijing, China. He obtained his Bachelor of Law degree at Chongqing University, Chongqing, China and now is a first-year-graduate mastering in international law at UIBE (University of International Business and Economics) Law School, Beijing, China.
He has been maintaining an outstanding academic performance with an average GPA of 3.95/4.00. He is quite interested in law and moot court competitions, with 3-time participation in the JESSUP competition from 2012-2014, and once in the ELSA WTO moot court competition in the Asia-Pacific Round, 2015. Before participating in such moot competitions, he was chairing the Model United Nations in universities.
Keven interned once in the Foreign Affairs Board of the Supreme Court of PRC, and the Securities Department of King & Wood Mallesons (KWM).
It was through the enlightening courses concerning international investment, trade and competition lectured in UIBE, and the stimulating experiences in the JESSUP and ELSA WTO competitions, and internships both in court and law firms that he found himself absorbed by International Economic Law. He intends to intensify his law and economic backgrounds and diversify his perspectives through training in the IELPO program, Barcelona, Spain.
