Catalina Barreiro Jaramillo holds a Law degree with an emphasis in Trade Law from Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá), a Diploma in Corporate Law from The London School of Economics and an International Baccalaureate Certificate from the Anglo Colombian School.
While pursuing her law degree, she interned at the Constitutional Court of Colombia; was elected as a member of the student council (Chancellor) and was a teaching assistant for one of the Banking and Financial Contracts undergraduate courses.
Furthermore, she was recognized by her alma mater with academic excellence due to her performance in The ELSA WTO Moot Court Competition - 12th edition (2013-2014), where together with her team, won Best Respondent Memorial in the All-American Round. She also helped with the preparation of Rosario’s WTO Moot Court team the following year.
After graduating, she worked for a year at the Colombian Government Trade Bureau.
Catalina is fluent in Spanish and English.
