Olesia Kryvetska obtained a bachelor degree in International Law with honors from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the Institute of International Relations (June, 2013).
During her studies, Olesia was engaged in the academic activity as a member and project manager of the Research and Scientific Legal Laboratory within the International Law Department of the Institute of International Relations. Moreover, Olesia was the first to launch a student TV in the Institute of International Relations in September, 2010. Besides, she was a deputy chief editor of “Mizhnarodnyk”, the Institute’s official newspaper.
Olesia took part in the Kyiv Session of the European Youth Parliament (April, 2012). She attended the 13th International Summer Law School “Human Rights and Globalization” held by ELSA-Croatia (July, 2012).
In 2013, Olesia participated in the ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO Law, representing the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She was the winner of the Best Speaker Award in the preliminary rounds of the Regional Round held in Cluj-Napoca (Romania). Along with her teammates, Mariya-Khrystyna Koziy and Vitalii Danylchenko, she advanced to the Final Oral Round that took place in Geneva (Switzerland).
As the Best Speaker of the Regional Round, she was awarded one week in the Summer Academy of the World Trade Institute (Bern, Switzerland). Within the framework of the WTI Summer Academy, Olesia completed a course in the Politics and Economics of Preferential Trade Agreements (August, 2013) Since September, 2012 Olesia has been working with Sergii Koziakov and Partners Law Firm, focusing primarily on international trade and corporate law.
She decided to join the IELPO Program to expand her knowledge in international economic law which will contribute to her further growth as a lawyer. In this respect, Olesia is grateful for having been awarded a partial Scholarship by IELPO.
