Natália da Rosa Siqueira was born in Porto Alegre, Brasil. She obtained her Law Degree at the Centro Universitario Ritter dos Reis, presenting her thesis on the Waiver to the Kimberley Process Scheme in the WTO, in which she obtained the maximum grade. She has worked as Lawyer in Andrade Maia Advogados in Porto Alegre, dealing with Consumer and Business Law issues.
She is a Portuguese native speaker, fluent in English, Spanish and French, and has good commands of German and Catalan.
Natália worked as a research assistant developing research on topics as the interaction between the Human Rights and International Trade Law systems, the interaction between the public and the private sector in the disputes submitted to the WTO Dispute Settlement Body, and the implementation of the decisions of the WTO DSB. As during her research activities, she has attended several conferences in United States, Chile, Brazil and Spain. Natália is member of the International Political Science Association and the Society of International Economic Law.
In 2013, she obtained her first Master’s Degree in International Studies and International Organizations from the University of Barcelona, with the presentation of her thesis on exchange rates misalignment and the WTO Disputes. She has been granted the Fundación Carolina Scholarship to the 2013-2014 LL.M. IELPO edition.
