A Romanian national, Andrei was born in 1987 in northern Transylvania. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Babes-Bolyai University (Cluj-Napoca, Romania), having followed a specialization track in European Law. Subsequent to obtaining his first degree in law, he pursued an LL.M. at Católica Global School of Law (Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon, Portugal) where he focused his studies on International Trade and Investment Law and on European Law.
Prior to enrolling on IELPO, Andrei worked as a Teaching Assistant in International Law at Babes-
Bolyai University. His experience also includes a position of legal counsel at a private company, a few internships in law firms and executive positions at the European Law Students' Association (ELSA)–Secretary General and Interim President of the Romanian chapter of the organization, and Secretary General of the local ELSA group of Cluj-Napoca. Furthermore, he was involved in the organization of four regional rounds of the ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO Law (EMC2).
