Sebastian Borquéz was born in Chile. He started his law studies at Central University of Chile, where he read law for five years.
Mr. Borquez graduated from law school with the highest grade of his class (Suma cum laude).
In 2010 was recruited by the State Defense Council of Chile as a Supreme and Constitutional Court lawyer.
In the meanwhile, he was a Civil Law teaching assistant at the Central University of Chile, and in December 2010 he obtained a postgraduate diploma in "Contracts and Liability Law" at the Catholic University of Chile with the unanimous distinction of the board.
In 2011, he became the Chief Lawyer of the Labour Law Office at the State Defense Council of Chile. In this position, he obtained a great litigation experience, taking charge of the most important cases in his country.
He also has a great commercial arbitration experience as a litigation lawyer, since his private practice.
