Joseph Alenn Gregorio hails from the Philippines. He is a Filipino lawyer who currently works as a Trade Policy Analyst in the Council and TNC Division at the WTO. He is extremely passionate about international trade, law and business. He believes that trade policy must be practical enough to positively influence business and other economic activities, and sound enough to be the basis of good law.
In 2007, he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Management major in Legal Management at the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU). He then took up his law degree at the Ateneo School of Law. During that time, he joined the Ateneo Society of International Law and helped with the initiatives of the Ateneo Center for International Economic Law. He did his legal apprenticeship at the Tavidell Law Offices in 2009; finished his JD degree in 2011; and, became a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in 2012. He was part of the Fifth Edition of the IELPO Programme and completed his LLM degree in International Economic Law and Policy in 2013.
His native language is Filipino. He is fluent in English, and has basic knowledge of French and Spanish.
