Ling Zhu was born in Shanghai, China. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Law from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 2011. Her background is a combination of law, economics and accounting (her second bachelor’s degree is accounting). During her undergraduate program, she ranked the top 2% of the school, and was sent on recommendation to graduate school, specializing in Economic Law. Apart from winning National Scholarship (which is the highest level scholarship for undergraduate students), she had been awarded the first prize scholarship for three consecutive academic years, and obtained the national bar when she was a senior student. Through the graduate program, Ling Zhu has dived into Intermediate Economics.
In legal practice, Ling Zhu worked as a paralegal in All Bright law offices and Dacheng law offices in 2011 and 2012, which are leading law firms in China. Before that she worked as a judge assistant in People’s Court of Xuhui District. She received highly evaluation from supervisors in these professional internships.
