Giulio Sansonetti is a qualified Costa Rican Lawyer with strong analytical skills, innovative and practical solutions, proven influencing and communication skills, and an expertise in providing legal opinion and counsel to international and local companies. He has developed effective client management and negotiation skills, and significant experience in commercial, corporate and trade Law. He has a particular interest in Strategic Management, Trade Law and Global businesses.
He holds a Law Degree with honors from the Escuela Libre de Derecho University in Costa Rica (2005) and a Master Degree in Business Administration from the University of Edinburgh (2010).
His professional career started as Paralegal in KPMG Costa Rica (2003). He has worked as an Associate Lawyer in Consortium Laclé & Gutiérrez (2006), Feinzaig, Scharf & Van der Putten (2008), Legal Advisor of the Costa Rican Chamber of Foreign Commerce (2007) and Trade Negotiator for the Costa Rican Ministry of Foreign Trade (2010).
With a view to expand his knowledge in international trade law and economic governance, he decided to join the IELPO Programme and become a highly skilled international legal practitioner and counselor. Due to his merits, he was granted a scholarship from Fundación Carolina.
He is a Spanish native speaker and fluent in English.
